Delete your Garmently account

Garmently is a virtual wardrobe and try-on app. This page explains how to permanently delete your Garmently account and the data attached to it.

If you no longer have the app

Email privacy@garmently.app from the address you signed up with, with the subject “Account deletion request”.

We reply to that address to confirm the request before deleting anything. That confirmation step exists to protect you: without it, anyone who knows your email address could erase your account.

Requests are completed within 30 days, and usually within a few days.

If you still have the app, this is faster

Open Garmently and go to Settings → Delete account. You will be asked to type DELETE and to confirm with the sign-in method you use. Deletion starts immediately and is permanent.

What is deleted

Everything tied to your account, permanently and without a recovery window:

Your account and profile, including your name, email address, avatar and measurements
Your closet and every garment in it, with all uploaded and generated images
Your outfits, collections, canvases, models and try-ons
Your planner entries, wear history and insights
Your remaining credits and your credit history
Your saved notification settings and any queued emails to your address

What is kept, and for how long

Anonymised billing records. Records of credit purchases and grants are kept as a financial audit trail, but your user id is replaced with a one-way pseudonym and your name is removed, so the entries can no longer be traced back to you.
Pseudonymous service logs. Request and cost logs used to operate and bill the service contain an opaque account identifier and no personal detail. They expire automatically after 400 days.
An anti-abuse device record. A record that a referral bonus was claimed on a given device is kept to stop the same device claiming it repeatedly. It contains an opaque device identifier and no personal detail.

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription

If you subscribed to Garmently Pro, that subscription is billed by Apple or Google, not by us, and we have no way to cancel it on your behalf. Cancel it yourself before deleting your account, or you will continue to be charged for an account that no longer exists.
